At 6:03pm one of our Server PODs had an issue that required a restart of the Helpstream services. The outage did not affect any of our Enterprise, Professional or Corporate customers. We are investigating the issue and apologize for any inconvenience.

One of the Helpstream servers was exhibiting sluggish performance and that system was restarted. The site may have been inaccessible for some of our customers for approximately 1-2 minutes. Our engineering staff is looking into the cause. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Recent performance improvements
January 28, 2009
From 11:30 to Midnight last night we made some changes to the system to improve overall performance. The changes slowed the system down early in the morning as they were coming on stream, but after about 8:30 PST, they were fully in effect. System performance should be much better. Please let us know via the Support Portal if you’re seeing any problems as we’re continuing to make changes to further improve overall system performance.

Service outage

The Helpstream customer service portal was exhibiting periods of sluggishness the morning of 1/22/09. An issue was tracked down that required a configuration change and subsequent service restart. The service portal was unavailable from 11:54am to 12:03pm. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
